Casa Vermouth
Set between Piazza Carlo Alberto and Piazza Carignano, in the iconic complex of Galleria Subalpina, Casa Vermouth blends Art Déco elegance, historic Turin, and the ritual of Vermouth.
The Residence
A fifty-five-square-metre hideaway at the top of a nineteenth-century palazzo, nestled within the Galleria Subalpina. Beyond its windows lie Palazzo Carignano — a UNESCO World Heritage monument — the rooftops of Turin, and the beauty of a city layered with history.

The Aesthetic
Inspired by the optimism of the Art Déco era and reinterpreted for modern Turin, the interiors blend marble, velvet, brass, mirrors, and warm woods into a world of character and atmosphere. Geometric details, soft reflections, and carefully crafted contrasts create a sense of glamour, lightness, and timeless elegance.

The Setting
Built in 1874, the Galleria Subalpina is often described as Turin's most elegant drawing room. Beneath its iron and glass vaults, historic cafés, artisan shops, cultural institutions, and new creative spaces coexist in quiet harmony. It is a place to slow down, look up, and absorb the rhythm of the city. Casa Vermouth lives at its heart, sharing the same spirit of heritage, beauty, and reinvention.

Casa Vermouth
Welcome to Casa Vermouth.
Thank you for pausing here on your journey.
Behind Casa Vermouth there is no hotel group, no international chain, no brand engineered around a boardroom table. There is simply the two of us: Ciro and Giulia.
Two aerospace engineers with a passion for hospitality, vermouth, design, architecture, and all those things that are difficult to explain but easy to recognise: the atmosphere of a place, the weight of light in a room, the sound of glasses beneath the arcades of Turin, the beauty of details considered with care.
Casa Vermouth was born from the desire to create a space with character, deeply rooted in Turin. A place that would be not merely a stay, but a small urban ritual.
Turin is a city that does not give itself away at once. It is to be discovered slowly, without haste — through its historic cafés, its silent arcades, its antique bookshops, the golden reflections at dusk, and that quiet elegance which never needs to raise its voice.
Casa Vermouth follows the same rhythm.
Vermouth, for us, is not simply a drink. It is a symbol of the Turin of the grand cafés, of endless conversations, of the years when aristocrats, artists, and the bourgeoisie met beneath the arcades of Piazza Castello to drink, to observe, and to imagine the future.
Art Déco, in the same way, was not chosen as a mere decorative style. It represents an era of optimism, character, glamour, and faith in tomorrow. An aesthetic language born exactly one hundred years ago, during the roaring twenties, that still today tells of an idea of luxury — light, elegant, and full of personality.
The combination of these two souls — vermouth and Art Déco — struck us as perfect for Turin: a historic, sophisticated city that keeps reinventing itself without ever losing its own identity.
Casa Vermouth is our way of sharing all of this with those who pass through here, even if only for a few days.
We hope that during your stay you may feel part of the city, slow down a little, experience Turin with curiosity, and carry away with you a few special memories.
Thank you for being here.
And safe travels.
— Ciro & Giulia
