Terms of StayCancellation Policy

Terms of Stay

1. The House

Casa Vermouth is a private apartment offered as a short-term tourist rental at Via Cesare Battisti 9, Turin. It is not a hotel. CIN: IT001272C2UJELJ4BZ. On site, we are supported by Neh Hospitality.

2. Booking and payment

  • The minimum stay is 2 nights.
  • The price shown at booking is the final price of your stay. It includes final cleaning, bed and bath linen, toiletries, the washer-dryer and its products, luggage storage subject to availability, and the welcome kit. For stays of 5 nights or more, one full housekeeping service during the stay is also included, at a time agreed with you.
  • The City of Turin tourist tax is shown as a separate item and is paid together with your booking: nothing will be asked of you on arrival.
  • Payment is made online, in full, at the time of booking. Your booking is confirmed once payment is received.
  • The prices and terms in force at the time of booking apply.

3. Services on request

Additional cleaning, linen changes, private tastings, transfers and the other services described in the House Manual are available on request and subject to availability, on the terms and at the prices we will share with you before confirming them.

4. The Vermouth Library

Your stay includes the welcome vermouth, our gift, together with ice, garnishes and everything needed to prepare the cocktails suggested in the Vermouth Library booklet. If curiosity leads you to the other labels in the Vermouth Library, or to the wines in the wine cabinet, just write to us: we'll be happy to tell you more about them. Alcoholic drinks are reserved for adult guests: please enjoy them in moderation and responsibly.

5. Cancellations and changes

The Cancellation Policy applies.

6. Guests

  • The House welcomes a maximum of 2 guests.
  • The person booking must be at least 18 years old and present during the stay, and is responsible for the other guest's compliance with these terms as well.
  • Only the guests named in the booking and registered through online check-in may stay at the House. Visitors are not allowed without our consent.
  • Pets are not allowed.

7. Before arrival

Italian law (art. 109 TULPS) requires us to register all guests with the local police (Questura). To spare you any formalities, a few days before arrival you'll receive a link to our online check-in, where you can upload a valid ID for each guest. Online check-in is also required to receive your access code. Without these documents we are unfortunately not permitted to welcome you.

8. Arrival and departure

  • Arrival: from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm we welcome you in person. After 8:00 pm arrival is self check-in, with a personal access code and detailed instructions sent in advance. Please let us know your expected arrival time.
  • Departure: by 10:00 am.
  • If you plan to arrive or leave outside these hours, just get in touch: we'll do our best to ease your arrival and make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

9. Living in the House

Casa Vermouth is in a historic residential palazzo with a listed façade, and follows the building's regulations. We kindly ask you to:

  • not hold parties or events;
  • not smoke in the apartment or in the common areas, electronic cigarettes included;
  • respect the quiet hours, from 10:00 pm to 9:00 am and from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm;
  • not hang or place anything on the street-facing windows and balcony, and not use open flames;
  • always close the main door and the staircase gate behind you;
  • sort your waste as described in the House Manual.

The House Manual, available in the apartment, contains all the practical information for your stay. In case of any discrepancy, these terms prevail.

In case of serious breaches of these rules (for example parties, unregistered guests, or behaviour that puts people, the House or the peace of the building at risk) we may ask you to leave the House. In that case, the cost of the nights not spent is non-refundable.

10. Caring for the House

We don't ask for a security deposit. We simply ask you to treat the House as you would your own, and to let us know before you leave if anything broke or stopped working. Should any damage occur beyond normal wear and tear, we'll get in touch to agree on reimbursement, based on documented costs. The same applies to any extra cleaning or fines resulting from a breach of these terms.

11. Liability

  • Please look after your personal belongings and always lock the House when you go out. We are not liable for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings, unless caused by our fault.
  • We do our best to make sure everything works perfectly, but we are not liable for inconvenience due to causes beyond our control, such as interruptions of utilities (water, electricity, internet), works in the building or the surrounding area, orders from the authorities or force majeure. If a problem significantly affects your stay, we'll work with you to find a fair solution.
  • For urgent maintenance or safety work, we may access the House, directly or through Neh Hospitality, with as much notice as possible.
  • Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

12. Right of withdrawal

As an accommodation service provided for specific dates, the 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply (art. 59(1)(n) of the Italian Consumer Code, Legislative Decree 206/2005, implementing art. 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU). The terms of the Cancellation Policy remain in force.

13. Privacy

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Governing law and disputes

This agreement is governed by Italian law, without prejudice to the mandatory rights granted to consumers by the law of their country of residence. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the court established by consumer protection law. First of all, though, write to us: we're confident we can find a solution together.

15. Language versions

These terms are available in Italian and English. In case of any discrepancy, the Italian version prevails.

Casa Vermouth

About
Us

Welcome to Casa Vermouth.

Thank you for stopping here on your journey.

Behind Casa Vermouth there is no hotel group, no international chain, no brand built at a drawing board. It is simply the two of us: Ciro and Giulia.

Two aerospace engineers with a passion for hospitality, Vermouth, design, architecture and all those things that are hard to explain but easy to recognise: the atmosphere of a place, the weight of light in a room, the sound of glasses beneath the arcades of Turin, the beauty of details thought through with care.

Casa Vermouth was born from the desire to create a space with character and deeply rooted in Turin. A place that would not merely be a stay, but a small urban ritual.

Turin is a city that does not give itself away at once. It is to be discovered slowly, without haste. Through its historic cafés, its silent galleries, its antique bookshops, its golden reflections at sunset and that discreet elegance which never needs to raise its voice.

Casa Vermouth follows this rhythm too.

Vermouth, for us, is not simply a drink. It is a symbol of the Turin of the great cafés, of endless conversations, of the years when aristocrats, artists and the middle classes met beneath the arcades of Piazza Castello to drink, to observe and to imagine the future.

Art Déco, likewise, was not chosen as a mere decorative style. It represents an era of optimism, character, glamour and faith in tomorrow. An aesthetic language born exactly a hundred years ago, during the roaring twenties, which still today speaks of an idea of luxury that is light, elegant and full of personality.

The combination of these two souls — Vermouth and Art Déco — felt perfect for Turin: a historic, sophisticated city that keeps reinventing itself without ever losing its identity.

Casa Vermouth is our way of sharing all of this with whoever passes through here, even just for a few days.

We hope that during your stay you may feel part of the city, slow down a little, experience Turin with curiosity and carry away with you some special memory.

Thank you for being here.
And safe travels.

— Ciro & Giulia
